Trust management for inter-enterprise collaborations

Enterprise computing is moving towards more open, collaborative systems, which involves issues in technical, semantic and pragmatic interoperability. Trust management focuses on pragmatic problems of whether two enterprises trust each other enough to want to collaborate in the first place, or whether they wish to end an existing endeavour due to perceived risks outweighing the trust between the partners. This paper presents my PhD research on the TuBE system for automated trust management and describes how trust and reputation are modeled in the system.
